Key Responsibilities and Expectations:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
- Transport Goods: Safely operate and drive a Class A commercial vehicle to transport goods to various locations as scheduled.
- Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and report any issues to the maintenance team.
- Load and Unload Cargo: Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring it is properly secured and handled with care.
- Route Planning: Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods while optimizing fuel efficiency and adhering to hours of service regulations.
- Compliance: Comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle inspections, and any incidents. Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for deliveries.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and representing the company positively.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the vehicle clean and ensure routine maintenance is performed as needed.
Qualification and Competencies:
- Valid Class A CDL: Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class A CDL driver. Experience with Conestoga stake trucks and Conestoga flatbed trailers preferred.
- Clean Driving Record: No major violations or accidents in the past three years.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift, push, pull, carry items up to 50 lbs.

Pay Range

Reports to:
- The Driver reports to the Logistics Manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Work Days:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Conestoga flatbed trailer driving: 2 years (Preferred)
- Conestoga stake truck driving: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CDL A (Required)
