Responsibilities and Expectations:
We are looking for an experienced Winder to join our team.
- Recording Measurements.
- Removing coils and insulation by hand and hand tools.
- Rewind various kinds of electric motors and generators, including:
- Random wound and form wound three-phase AC motors.
- DC fields
- Armatures
- Wound rotors
- Observe proper insulating techniques and comply with specification during rewinding.
- Electrically test throughout the rewinding process.
- Process varnish and VPI processes.
- Clean varnish/VPI after process off of motor frame.
- Load/unload burn off and bake-out ovens.
- Various other tasks related to the repair of electric motors and generators.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- 2 years motor winding experience.
