Job Title: Java Developer with WebFlux & AWS EKS
Location: Austin, TX
Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented Java Developer with expertise in Spring WebFlux, AWS EKS, and strong experience with advanced Java 8 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud-native microservices architecture and experience working with Cassandra and MongoDB for scalable database solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain reactive backend services using Spring WebFlux and Java 8 .
Deploy and manage containerized applications using AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
Implement and maintain cloud-native microservices with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
Leverage Cassandra and MongoDB for high-performance, distributed data storage.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices and design patterns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design APIs and integrate various systems.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability in cloud-based environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, staging, and production environments.
Work with CI/CD tools to automate deployment pipelines and ensure smooth application rollouts.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in Java development, cloud computing, and containerization.
Required Skills:
Advanced Java 8 (or higher) programming skills with deep understanding of object-oriented design and concurrency.
Hands-on experience with Spring WebFlux for building reactive applications.
Expertise in deploying and managing applications on AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
Experience working with Cassandra and MongoDB for distributed data management and NoSQL solutions.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with cloud-native patterns, deployment, and scalability in AWS.
Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.
