Responsibilities:
Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive API product strategy aligned with the overall business objectives of our retail and commercial banking segment.
API Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire API lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing management.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including developers, partners, and customers.
Product Roadmap: Define and prioritize the product roadmap based on market insights, customer feedback, and business goals.
API Monetization: Explore and implement strategies for monetizing APIs, such as subscription models, usage-based pricing, or partner integrations.
Documentation and Support: Ensure comprehensive API documentation and support to enable seamless developer adoption and integration.
Metrics and Analytics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure API success and identify areas for improvement.
Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and explore new opportunities to leverage APIs to enhance our products and services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on APIs or digital products.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing API products.
Deep understanding of API development, design, and integration best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Familiarity with banking industry trends and regulations is a plus.
Experience with Open Banking, Open Finance, and FDX standards is preferred.
