Job Title: SAP ABAP HANA Consultant

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP HANA Consultant to join our team in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ABAP development with a focus on SAP HANA, including Core ABAP, ABAP OO, CDS/AMDP, ODATA, and IDoc. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP solutions to meet business requirements while ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs using Core ABAP and ABAP OO methodologies.
- Develop and optimize CDS (Core Data Services) views and AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) for SAP HANA.
- Create and enhance ODATA services for SAP Fiori and other front-end applications.
- Configure and troubleshoot IDoc interfaces for seamless data exchange between SAP and external systems.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of ABAP code for SAP HANA environments.
- Debug and resolve issues related to ABAP programs, interfaces, and data flows.
- Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and standards.
- Provide technical support during system upgrades, patches, and migrations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- Strong experience in ABAP Core and ABAP OO (Object-Oriented) programming.
- Hands-on experience with CDS views and AMDP in SAP HANA.
- Proficiency in developing and consuming ODATA services.
- Expertise in IDoc configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of SAP HANA database concepts and optimization techniques.
- Experience with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its migration scenarios.
