Job description
We are a small but fast growing local construction/remodel company that focuses mainly on high-end residential remodeling. Our clients expect and appreciate quality and we strive to deliver that on every job. We’re looking for a Superintendent with similar values and beliefs who can translate his or her expertise and skills to our team. Pay will be competitive based on tools and experience. Projects that you can expect to be involved in range from bathrooms, kitchens, basements, up to whole home renovations
Skills and Experience:
- Direct Residential remodel experience is required
- Experience working with Buildertrend or other construction management software
- Understanding the flow of construction and the ability to build and maintain schedules
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to communicate with team and clients at a high level
- Attention to detail. This is incredibly important as we have clientelle that expect near perfection and high end results
- Ability to thrive within a team dynamic
- Able to self manage and problem solve without direct supervision
- Willingness to report job progress to team and clients
- Overall solid understanding of the nuance of remodel construction and being able to adapt to changing plans and scope
- Stong critical thinking skills
- Great general knowledge of best building practices and local codes
- Can read and interpret plans and do take offs for material ordering
- Willingness to go beyond job description and assist other team members with necessary tasks to get the project completed on time and on budget

Duties, Responsibilities & Requirements
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, reach, stand, kneel and climb ladders
- Must be detail oriented, have excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving abilities, and proven leadership skills. The ability to handle multiple projects / tasks.
- Must have a good understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading.
- Thoroughly understand project floor plans, fixture placement drawings and construction drawings.
- Communicate potential change orders to Owner as soon as they become known.
- Manage and communicate client concerns, problems or complaints on assigned projects.
- Ensure communication of potential survey changes or differences to Owner as soon as they become known.
Expected hours: 40 per week

Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
