Job Title: Quality Control Assistant

Reports To: Quality Control Manager

Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Review Plans & Shop drawings for compliance with construction documents & QC
• Inspect all installations on project assigned for compliance with QC checklists and construction documents.
• Assist with pre-install meetings prior to trades commencing work and follow up as new employees are added to project to ensure all install, mixing, processes & products are per approved
• Assist with ensuring final plans/ as builts are updated to reflect all building components
• Coordinate & Advise Quality Control Manager for items out of
• Maintain positive communication with subcontractors, office, owner, design teams and
• Create and/ or assist Quality Control Manager in generating RFIs as needed with possible solution recommendations.
• Potential to assist with overseeing trade contractors for specific scopes of work related to QC, sequencing and schedule.
• Assist Quality Control Manager & Superintendent as needed to ensure work is always

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High school education and a minimum of 4 years of field related
• Must possess some knowledge of the facets in construction (i.e. A1A Divisions 1 -16)
• OSHA 10-hour certification preferred but can be
• Ability to use Microsoft office products, Outlook, Word, Excel
• Ability to use Procore Software preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid Florida Driver License
