Position : Accounting Manager
Pay Rate / Salary : $70k / Salary D.O.E
Location : Stockton, CA
Schedule : Monday - Friday 8am-4 : 30pm
Job Description : The Accounting Manager will be responsible to help the senior team manage and forecast revenue compared to our expenses and strategic goals.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, preparing weekly, monthly, and yearly financial reports.
- Conduct risk analysis to identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Manage and mentor two direct reports, ensuring accurate and timely financial data.
- Work with ADP and Accountmate systems, using basic to advanced functionalities as needed.
- Utilize Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting tasks, with a strong focus on formulas, pivot tables, and visualizations.
- Collaborate with HR on various tasks, such as payroll reporting, employee expense tracking, and financial compliance.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reviewing key performance indicators (KPIs) for management insights.
- Support in month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
