Position: Cost Accountant
Pay Rate/Salary: $35.00-$41.00
Location: Turlock, CA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
Job Duties:
- Working with Senior Accounting Manager to establish standard costs of manufactured goods.
- Analysis of cost standards and reporting on variances to actual costs
- Establish cost models to determine costs of labor, administration, sales, etc. by material.
- Recommends changes to reduce costs and maximize profit.
- Preparing monthly reports to measure shrink of raw materials and packaging.
- Review of work orders for accuracy and adjusting costs as necessary in Sage X3 ERP system
- Research of material costs to ensure the accuracy of information in Sage X3 ERP system.
- Periodic audit of manufacturing processes to ensure accuracy of allocated costs.
- Work closely with CFO to provide material costs for budget preparation.
- Managing bill of materials for all manufactured goods to ensure accurate costing in Sage X3 ERP system.
- Foster teamwork and embrace accountability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
