Position : Grant Coordinator
Pay Rate / Salary : $25-30 / hr and up D.O.E
Location : Stockton
Schedule : M-F 8 am to 5 pm
Job Description :
The Grant Coordinator is a highly organized and detail-oriented role that reports to the Comptroller.
This role is responsible for researching, preparing, and submitting grant proposals to foundations, government entities, and corporate donors, as well as tracking, administering and reporting on existing grants.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Research & Identify Funding Opportunities
- Conduct thorough research to identify new funding sources, including grants from federal, state, and local governments, private foundations, and corporate donors.
- Analyze grant requirements and align potential funding opportunities with programs and goals.
Proposal Writing
Grant Reporting
Funding Administration
Confidentiality & Ethical Practice
Dress Code : Business Casual
Education : Bachelor’s degree in English and / or Communications is preferred or requisite work experience in a related field.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3-5 years of successful grant writing experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
Proven track record of securing government, foundation, and corporate grants.
Exceptional written communication and storytelling skills.
Strong research skills with the ability to identify and assess funding opportunities.
Experience developing and managing grant budgets.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate with diverse teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and grant management software.
