Job purpose
Provides excellent customer service externally and internally, upholds and assisting in maintaining the customer service standards of Hedy Holmes Staffing. Coordinating and retaining quality employees by utilizing recruiting and retention programs.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Primary responsibility is to fill open job orders.
- Provide excellent customer service both externally and internally.
- Responsible for answering/ transferring multi-phone lines with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
- Follow up with all employee/client relationships on a routine basis.
- Treat all assignments, filled or unfilled, with a sense of urgency.
- Support and contribute to the team environment. Communication is key when working with all the representatives of the HHSS team.
- Assist other team members as needed.
- Inform your supervisor when you become aware that customer service standards are not being upheld.
- Must maintain an organized desk.
- Must write quality job orders, paying attention to detail, as required in the HHSS Training Manual.
- Interview candidates for positions following the procedures set by HHSS.
- Data entry and filing of applications according to the procedures set by HHSS.
- Check references of candidates according to the procedures set by HHSS.
- Run background checks, E-Verify to validate forms of ID; drug testing as required.
- Work closely with hiring managers/department managers in qualifying requirements, job descriptions and communications of status/availability of qualified candidates.
- Make quality matches according to the procedures set by HHSS.
- Responsible for arrival calls for all assignments.
- Responsible for hiring, termination and retention of temporary employees according to the policies and procedures set by HHSS.
- Client in-person or over the phone check-in, tours, site evaluations as needed.
- Utilize Job Boards (Zip Recruiter, Cal Jobs, LinkedIn, HHSS Website and other social media avenues).
- Post job positions/job posting for new requisitions and confirm current job postings are up to date.
- Work closely with management regarding all employee recruiting, retention, and maintenance.
- Responsible for solving and managing common payroll problems.
- Collection of timecards for payroll department and follow up of missing timecard information.
- Responsible for reporting any activity of another (employee, client, and temporary) that does not support the standards, policies, procedures, integrity, or that jeopardizes the Hedy Holmes Staffing Company in any way.
- 60 recruiting calls per day, 10 successful placements her week.
- Responsible for turning in an activity log every Friday by end of day to your branch manager.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1 – 2 years of clerical duties and/or customer service experience
- Staffing experience helpful
- Valid CA Driver’s License (Class C) and current auto insurance
Physical requirements
- Sitting for long periods of time
- Occasional Driving
- Possible lifting to 30 lbs. (copy paper)
