Job Summary:
Hedy Holmes Staffing Services is seeking a highly skilled Structural Steel Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of multiple commercial and industrial projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating with senior management and field supervisors to meet stringent deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project schedules.
- Interact with clients, fabricators, and other stakeholders to discuss and manage project progress.
- Review and analyze contract drawings and job specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Determine project schedules and sequencing plans to optimize productivity and profitability.
- Monitor project activities, resolve challenges, and address changes, deficiencies, and punch list items.
- Review weekly project status reports and provide information to upper management and clients.
- Ensure contractual terms and obligations are met, and accounting for project change orders is accurate.
- Maintain relationships with customers and vendors to identify potential barriers and resolutions.
- Visit job sites as needed and required, and prepare reports for management.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Structural/Civil Engineering, or Business may substitute for 3 years of experience. 5-10 years of related experience as a Project/Construction Manager in the structural steel industry or 5 years as a Project Coordinator/Engineer or Assistant Project Manager along with 3 years detailing/drafting/computer modeling is preferred.
