We are seeking a dedicated and professional part-time housekeeper to join our growing company. You will perform a variety of housekeeping duties including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, surface cleaning, and dusting. Attention to detail is required. The right person is punctual, thorough, and efficient.
Duties Responsibilities
- Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products
- Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors as needed
- In charge of vacuuming equipment; vacuums and cleans carpets, performs further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as needed
- Disposal of trash from bins and containers
- Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed as well as trim around doorways and baseboards
- Scrub sinks, basins, showers, and toilets in private and public bathrooms
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters as needed
- Keep all public spaces neat and tidy
- On occasion, some light office work will be required including greeting customers, answering phones, transferring calls, distributing mail, handling out-going mail, scanning documents.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 to 30 pounds
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with ability to stand for long lengths of time
- Previous experience cleaning preferred; organized and able to follow a schedule
- Able to follow verbal directions
