Hegira Health is proud to be a federally Certified Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), a Zero Suicide, and Trauma Informed Care focused organization. We offer extensive training and are Wayne County’s primary agency delivering suicide prevention services.

The CCBHC program is looking for a Part-time Data Associate. The Data Associate shall have:· A bachelor’s degree, preferably in social science, science, statistics, or business.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry, management, and analysis.

· Proficiency in the use of Microsoft products e.g., Excel, Teams, and SharePoint, etc.

· Good oral and written presentation skills

· Experience with state and federal databases preferred.

· Knowledge of behavioral or physical healthcare data preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency in:

· Data entry, tracking, and analysis

· Database management

· Microsoft products

· Experience with state and federal databases preferreds.

Job Responsibilities:

· Plan and execute various data and evaluation tasks in a collaborative manner with supervisor and team.

· Download weekly staff reports in electronic health record (EHR) for data entry preparation.

· Perform data entry into state and federal systems in a timely manner to meet grant deadlines.

· Monitor and track federal grant assessments e.g. National Outcome Measures (NOMs) in electronic health record (EHR).

· Extract data from existing case files and other documents as needed.

· Data Control:

o Oversight of data entry for state and federal projects.

o Communicate data issues and/or updates to evaluation team for project monitoring and enhancement.

o Assist evaluation team with data analysis and writing reports.

· Participate in quarterly advisory meetings and assist with planning, presentation of data collection/findings, and recording minutes.

Organizational:

· Provide information that meets the needs of the agency programs and the staff that work within them.

· Actively participate in the promotion of an internal agency cultural shift towards program evaluation, continuous learning, and continuous program improvement that is currently ongoing at the Agency.

· Other duties as assigned by Evaluator, or other members of the leadership team.

Technical:

· Reviews and monitors NOMs data collected in EHR evaluating for completeness, and enters information identified elsewhere in the record submitted by Evaluator or clinical staff.

· Enters data into SAMHSA database (SPARS) which will be used for the performance and accountability of the grant.

· Downloads staffing reports in EHR for data entry preparation into state database e.g. WSA.

· Enters data into WSA along with internal spreadsheet for tracking and monitoring.

· Requests reconciliation of missing or incorrect data from person responsible for data collection and submission.

· Enters reconciled data into state and federal databases.

· Tracks and maintains records of required data collection and submission for program participants.

· Identifies clinical review of reassessments and discharges and notifies supervisor of action notices and/or discharges.

· Completes consumer discharges in federal database.

· Identifies consumers for reengagement contact.

· Performs data downloads when requested.

· Monitors data for quality and completeness.

· Assists with staff trainings relative to data collection and tracking.

Physical Requirements:

· Must have adequate visual acuity to interact with the Electronic Health Record System and accurately input data.

• Candidates should have an interest in and a familiarity with community organizations and a number of social service delivery systems. Knowledge is preferred of behavioral or primary healthcare.
