Hegira Health, Inc. has been a leading provider of behavioral health services across the metropolitan Detroit area since 1971. Licensed by the state of Michigan and accredited by the Joint Commission.
Recovery Techs (also known as patient attendants) are key to the team at our treatment facility. They work with a team of nurses, therapists, case managers, peer recovery coaches in the treatment services for our residents.
We are currently seeking candidates for the PART-TIME shifts below.
- Midnight 11:00pm - 7:30am
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday (three of)
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-year health care related work
- CPR Certification (can be obtained during the hire process)
- Experience with mental health or substance abuse disorder patients preferred
NO BATHING, DRESSING OR FEEDING OF PATIENTS IS REQUIRED.
Responsibilities:
- Patient support and interaction
- Complete room checks per schedule
- Monitor patients' whereabouts at all times and document on appropriate forms
- Patient registration, identification, documents, property searches
- Serve prepared/catered snacks and meals
- Greet new patients and visitors (phone and in person)
- Light cleaning/linen changes or distribution
- Facilitate activity groups
- Computer input and updating on patient activity and intake
- Assist in the intakes and discharges of residents
- Complete shift documentation
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.85 - $17.85 per hour
