Hegira Health, Inc. (HHI), a private non-profit corporation, is one of the largest freestanding behavioral healthcare agencies in the area. HHI, accredited by the Joint Commission and licensed by the State of Michigan, provides a broad array of mental health and substance abuse treatment and prevention services to individuals of all ages.
Oakdale Recovery Center is a 55-bed treatment facility for adults with substance use disorders. Oakdale’s Detoxification and Residential programs provide intensive, structured, 24-hour medically monitored services for adults struggling with a wide range of drug, alcohol and mental health concerns. A disease-specific, person-centered and multidisciplinary approach to care is provided. We offer comprehensive treatment services and offer each resident follow along supports that begin with the withdrawal/detoxification process and extend through aftercare following residential treatment.
The Clinical Services Supervisor shall be available Monday through Friday daytime. Additional availability of on-call alternating weeks/vacations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, specializing in psychology, social work, counseling, or other related human services field
- Current, appropriate full licensure/certification issued by the State of Michigan
- Five or more years experience in the behavioral health field, of which at least three years was spent in a multidisciplinary environment
- CAADC
- CCS or development plan or obtain a development plan within 30 days of hire
- Demonstrate knowledge of diagnostics, psychopharmacology, and supportive treatment approaches as applied to child/adolescent population
- Two years of supervisory experience in a similar setting
RESPONSIBILITIES (summary):
Clinical Supervision
- Routinely review staff clinical performance.
- Conduct case conferencing to meet clinical and payor requirements.
- Ensure staff practice is maintained within the limits of licensee and established areas of competency.
Program Planning
- Participate in annual corporate program-specific budget and service goals and objectives determination meeting.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of treatment protocols appropriate to services supervised.
- Make recommendations to the Operations Manager and/or Clinical Director regarding program changes and/or improvements.
- Identify like-services trends in the community and make recommendations to Administration.
- Monitor staff activity in relation to established annual goals and objectives.
- Assign service delivery to staff based on skill assessment.
Community Liaison
- Participate as program liaison to payor sources, community outreach organizations, etc., as requested.
Personnel
- Interview, hire, and evaluate or assign designee, for ORC Clinical staff including Therapists and Case Managers.
- Facilitate assessment, development, and implementation of staff individual and departmental professional development plans.
Reports/Evaluations:
Clinic Performance
- Complete goals and objective achievement report quarterly
- Complete annual goals and objectives and program evaluation quarterly in conjunction with Operations Manager
Administration
- Communicate change in policy and procedure to staff.
- Participate in internal and external auditing.
- Facilitate the completion of corrective actions required based on survey/ audit findings.
- Resolve informal recipient complaints at the clinic level.
- Ensure staff is skilled and educated to identify and manage clinical risk.
- Enforce compliance with 42-CFR and HIPAA guidelines.
