What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant/Payroll Administrator position at HEI Hotels & Resorts?
Overview
Oversee the financial activities of the hotel for Income Audit and Payroll Systems in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and HEI Hotels and Resorts Standards.
Compensation : $30.00 - $32.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Sort and verify accuracy of Night Audit work (primarily receivables aspect), . including reconciliation of banquet check extensions, coding of banquets at cost, review and route sales and promotion checks with back-up.
- Process payroll for all hotel team members. Review accuracy of payroll and deductions and reports all discrepancies to supervisor.
- Prepare payroll reports, conducts annual record retentionprocedures, assist in processing quarterly, year-end closings.
- Process tips and gratuities.
- Enter requests for vacations, personal days, sick days, etc. ensuring the properdocuments are proveded fro accuracy and consistent practices.

- Responsible for full cycle Income Audit of all hotel income generating operations.
- Responsible for recording all hotel income on a daily basis via Income Journal.
- Interface checks and submit a lof of aall manual checks for the Controller.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
