Description : JOB SUMMARY
Call on assigned retail accounts while checking product freshness and proper rotation. Build lasting relationships with our customers, accomplish preset account objectives, merchandise accounts with quality and current point-of-sale. Meet standards set forth by District Manager and General Sales Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute programs to drive key supplier sales objectives.
- Assist Sales Professionals with display builds, ensuring displays are positioned in an impactful location. Said displays should be priced correctly and should utilize the most current point-of-sale.
- Be knowledgeable of current sales goals in order to assist Sales Professionals with opportunity identification.
- Assist Sales and Operations team members with product delivery.
- Maintain retail call frequency as required.
- Pre-work daily to prepare for next day calls.
- Be prepared daily with correct merchandise to keep accounts up to date.
- Audit accounts during sales calls to ensure neon’s and other permanent point-of-sale is up to HDC standards.
- Monitor quality control standards (product freshness, finished product loss).
- Develop Sales Support Route; including performance, customer relations and route efficiency
- Assist in sales route coverage during period of vacation.
- Respond, investigate and resolve retailer questions and concerns
- Ensure compliance with all legal guidelines, company and supplier standards and policies
- Participate in a team environment of fearless feedback and total transparency.
