This is a great opportunity to help others while enjoying a challenging position in a growing mid-size enterprise.Responsibilities include : Achieving annual sales quotas by promoting value proposition of all products in the product portfolio to new and existing customers. Regularly communicating sales plans and activities to sales management. Collaborating cross-functionally with fellow sales consultants, field applications and service teams as well as with the HQ sales administration team. Representing Heidelberg Engineering at local, regional and national symposiums, trade shows, and congresses. Educating customers on the value of the company's products. Engaging marketing and applications teams to provide in-territory field sales and marketing activities, such as peer-to-peer sales roadshows, seminars and webinars. Using salesforce.com to build and maintain a database of prospective customers, as well as entering all sales activity and managing sales leads. Contributing to product support and providing product training and installation support as needed. Generating and presenting quotes to customers and communicating all related billings and insurance and delivery details. Following up on customer concerns and escalating bringing issues to HQ for timely resolution. Position Requirements Must be located in the Phoenix, AZ or Denver, CO area.The ideal candidate for this role will have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years related sales experience in medical / capital industry and / or ophthalmology and optometry. Candidates must have proven experience in territory sales planning, prospecting, cold calling, hands-on product demo capabilities and sales presentation skills.Successful candidates should demonstrate ownership, accountability and leadership skills of the territory. The self-motivated candidate should be able to communicate clearly and openly on all business aspects to the sales and HQ management team, be self-directed, able to work with minimal supervision, have a true sales focus, the ability and desire to multi-task, and a willingness to take ownership through completion of all responsibilities. The candidate must be a self-starter, have strong interpersonal skills, and be flexible in a dynamic team environment.
