Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Process Engineer Intern to join our Heidelberg Materials Remote Optimization Center (HROC) team for the summer of 2025. As Process Engineer Intern, you will immerse yourself in plant processes. This position will have the opportunity to tackle new challenges and projects and gain real-world working experience. Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Process Engineer Intern to join our Heidelberg Materials Remote Optimization Center (HROC) team for the summer of 2025. What You'll Be Doing
- Assist in the documentation and implementation of processes and training materials to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HROC leadership, remote optimization team, functional engineers, and plant teams, to accurately document the critical control room procedures.
- Collect key information from subject matter experts and organize it to design documentation and training materials.
- Develop process flow charts and technical designs, including screen records, videos, and other media for Standard Operating Procedures and training guides
- Supporting data organization, cleansing, and enhancing existing data visualization using Microsoft products and other tools.
- Various ad hoc request such assisting with executive presentations, memos and other tasks
What Are We Looking For
- Current junior or seniors pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Visio and SharePoint and AutoCAD
- Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to simplify complex information
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
