What You'll Be Doing
- Operate dredge equipment to excavate and maintain waterways.
- Monitor and adjust machinery to ensure efficient operation.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on dredge equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met.
- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in operating dredge machinery and related equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and environmental standards.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
- Must be able to work in various environmental conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
- Starting Pay $26.00 per hour DOE
