What You'll Be Doing
- Responsible for the operation of front-end loader to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers and to load trucks or railcars.
- Perform routine maintenance on mobile equipment, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
- Participate in making sure the quality and quantity of raw materials meets established standards.
- Ensures compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures.
- Work toward improvement of the assigned plant and surrounding area.
What Are We Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years prior experience in the aggregate industry preferred; experience in aggregate plant operation and maintenance a plus
- Highly dependable, ability to work in fast paced environment
- This position will work the various shifts as needed. Overtime and working on weekends will be required.
- Prior experience operating mobile equipment (haul truck, skid steer, etc.) and machinery a plus
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
