What You'll Be Doing
- Strong focus on the sales side of the business including the sales processes, orders, logistics, billing, etc.
- Involvement in the operational side of the business including exposure to mining, processing, quality control, and shipping.
- A solid understanding of the support departments including the functions that they perform and how they support the business. These include CCM, finance, and legal.
- Complete various projects as assigned during the training program. Projects may be operational, sales or business development related. These projects are a great way for the successful candidate to really add value to the organization and increase their own skills while completing the training program.
- Participate in continuous improvement exercises, including work that is heavily analytical, to seek new and changing ways to improve the profitability of the business.
- Drive and promote a culture of safety and promote a safe work environment
What Are We Looking For
- A Bachelors or Advanced degree in sales/marketing, construction management, mining or another applicable program.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to maintain a safe workplace and to perform hands on duties as part of an overall development program
- Computer literacy
- Ability to anticipate and adapt to changing situations
- Willingness to travel and / or relocate for future assignments
