Well established boutique trusts and estates law firm in Charlotte is seeking an energetic, cheerful, and professional Law Firm Administrator. Our firm is comprised of four attorneys and several paralegals. Our culture is highly collaborative and client focused.
Role Description
This is a full-time role located in the Myers Park area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, opening and maintaining client files, composing correspondence as necessary, acting as receptionist as needed, communicating with clients, maintaining the law firm's calendar, and ensuring the efficient operation of the office. Additionally, the candidate will handle all accounts payable and accounts receivable in QuickBooks. The ideal candidate strives to anticipate work to be done, works with a minimum of supervision and instruction, exercises analytical judgment in areas of responsibility, and identifies problems or situations as they occur.
Qualifications
- Must have experience in a legal environment or other professional office environment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Maintains legal confidence at all times
- Experience with CLIO and QuickBooks a plus
- Notary Public, or eligible to become one
