JOB SUMMARY
The PHP developer manages current and upcoming projects. The PHP is responsible for creating, maintaining and enhancing our web applications and websites using PHP, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

- Writing back-end code and building efficient PHP modules.
- Troubleshooting application and code issues.
- Updating and altering application features to enhance performance.
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP.
- Design and manage database systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve issues.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web development.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of applications on various platforms.
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a PHP Developer or similar role.
- JavaScript: 3 years (Preferred)
- PHP development: 3 years (Preferred)
- WordPress: 1 year PHP: 3 years (Preferred)
- Proficient with code versioning tools including Git, and SVN.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

- Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.
- Knowledge of WordPress, widgets, and plugins.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and JQuery
- Ability to manage projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities .
- Familiarity with SQL/MySQL databases.
- Familiarity with Apache and IIS service administration
- In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming, WordPress and working knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and JQuery.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
- Experience with database management systems, especially MySQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of web security principles and best practices.
