The Lobby Attendant/Facilities Assistant role is part of our Guest Services Department and reports to the Guest Services Team Lead/Head Concierge. The primary function of this role is to be an internal liaison for on-site property conditions and provide guests with on-site support during check in and throughout their stays. Performance for this role will be measured using guest review scores. This is a part-time position, working up to 25 hours a week.

Essential Functions
- As a Lobby Attendant/Facilities Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating laying impressions for our guests by maintaining a welcoming and visible on-site presence at the property.
- Your enthusiasm, attentive service, and passion for hospitality will set the tone for an unforgettable guest experience.
- Assist guests with check in and check out procedures.
- Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly service-oriented manner.
- Provide property condition and guest satisfaction updates to the guest services, property management, and housekeeping teams.
- Assist and support the appearance of all entry ways- clean, wash, paint touch-ups etc. The General upkeep of public areas of the hotel, including the hallways, elevators
- Waste management: moving overflow trash to consolidation dumpsters, keeping consolidation dumpster areas neat and clean.
- Meet third party repair & Maintenance vendors on site, as needed
- Maintain storage of housekeeping supplies in an organized manner.
- Conduct pre-arrival and post-departure walk throughs at the property, submit work orders if/when appropriate.
- Special Projects, as assigned
- After hours as needed/potential for guest support (bonus provided).
Requisites
- Prior experience in a hotel setting or in a similar role is ideal, but willing to train the right person.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must have a valid driver license.
- Able to list and carry up to 50 pounds, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Comfortable using cloud based systems to organize and complete work - technology
- Exemplary planning, Multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
- Experience with general maintenance support
- Fluent in English: written and spoken. Being bilingual is a plus.
- Work Location: 422-426 Gravier St. New Orleans, LA, may be asked to provide coverage at other properties, where applicable.
- This role will be compensated by the hour, commensurate with experience.
- This is a part time role, you should anticipate ~25 hours of work scheduled each week.
- This role is an on-site, in-person position, with the ability to access this location quickly
- Working hours can be scheduled during the following windows: ***Please note, the start and end times listed below are not the shift start and end times. The table below shows all of the times that the company needs dispatch coverage. The dispatcher will cover ~25 hours during these windows and will not be expected to cover all of the hours in these time windows.
