INTERIOR DOOR SPRAY PAINTER
Department: INTERIOR DOOR PAINT SHOP
Reports To: PAINT SHOP SUPERVISOR
FLSA Status: NON EXEMPT
Hours Required To Work Per Week: 40 - plus overtime as needed.
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm
Pay Rate: $20-22/Hour
Summary
Sprays surfaces of interior doors with protective or decorative material such as paint, or lacquer by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for all paint booth operations.
Cleans grease and dirt from product.
Applies masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated.
Fills cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface.
Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color.
Pours coating liquid into spray container and connects gun to airhose.
Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray.
Pulls trigger and directs spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish coat.
Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent.
Other duties may be assigned.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
