Job Description:
This role will be part of a small, dynamic team of four responsible for shaping AI risk policies and ensuring AI technologies are embedded responsibly into banking processes. The goal is to help the organization leverage AI effectively while adhering to regulations, compliance standards, and ethical considerations. With various tools being launched, this position will play a key role in guiding internal teams on AI strategy, training, and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop strategies and processes for responsible AI adoption.
- Create and deliver AI-related training programs to educate teams on best practices, risks, and compliance.
- Work with product teams to build out AI use cases and assist with risk assessment questionnaires.
- Participate in the AI ethics working group, helping define ethical risk assessment frameworks and potential tooling solutions.
- Use data storytelling and dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) to communicate AI program insights and risks.
- Help identify and assess AI-related risks, while ensuring that business teams retain ownership of risk management.
- 3-5 years or 10 years of relevant experience in AI risk, governance, compliance, or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate across teams.
- Personable and outgoing personality.
- A problem-solver and execution-focused thinker who can drive process improvements.
- AI fluency—not necessarily an AI expert, but someone who understands AI models, training processes, and cloud-based AI technologies.
- Background in risk, audit, compliance, and AI/data governance.
- Must have an understanding of AI governance and responsible AI culture.
- Experience working in a large, regulated institution (financial services preferred).
- Data analytics experience (Power BI preferred, Tableau also used).
- Experience in banking or financial services.
