Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Live-In Resident Manager for our 176-unit apartment building in Wayne, NJ. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the smooth operation of the property and create a welcoming environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform service requests, respond to maintenance emergencies, and conduct preventative maintenance.
- Prepare vacant apartments for showings and lease.
- Responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, supervising and developing on-site maintenance personnel.
- Update electronic service records with maintenance notes and manage electronic records of apartment leads.
- Enforce lease rules and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Daily cleaning of common areas, including garbage rooms, lobby, mailroom, elevators, package room, compactor room, and corridors.
- Promptly respond to all apartment leads and provide excellent customer service.
- Report property details and maintenance information to the regional property manager.
- Attend management meetings as required.
- Maintain an organized maintenance shop and ensure all tools and supplies are in order.
- Conduct scheduled inspections (daily, monthly, yearly) of the property.
- Coordinate and monitor contractor/vendor visits to ensure quality service.
- Successfully show vacant apartments, demonstrating attention to detail to enhance tenant satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and maintenance.

Pay: From $42,000.00 per year
