What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Hekemian & Co., Inc.?
Abilities & Skills:
- Accept, review and coordinate service requests with peers and customers
- Observe, report and address deficiencies throughout the community
- Multitask in a team environment
- Effectively communicate with peers, superiors and customers
- Follow directions and compete all assigned task
- Plumbing, Electrical and Carpentry experience and proficiency
- Knowledge of appliance operation and ability to troubleshoot and compete basic repair
- Inspect and service trash rooms, trash chute doors and operate compactor equipment
- Clean/disinfect trash chute doors on the inside and outside
- Knowledge of hand tools and building components
Requirements:
- Basic Plumbing, Electrical and Carpentry experience.
- Previous experience working at a Multi-Family residential complex.
- Possess a current, in good-standing Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
