Position: Janitorial Supervisor

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 depending upon experience

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership:
• Supervise and lead a team of janitorial staff, providing guidance, support, and training.
• Schedule and organize daily tasks, ensuring efficient and effective cleaning operations.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain high cleaning standards.
• Address and resolve any issues related to cleanliness promptly.
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor and manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory.
• Place orders for supplies in a timely manner to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Safety Compliance:
• Enforce safety protocols and standards to create a secure work environment.
• Conduct regular safety training sessions for the janitorial team.
• Communication:
• Collaborate with building staff to address specific cleaning needs.
• Communicate effectively with staff and management regarding cleaning schedules and special projects.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemical safety.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
