What you will be doing:
The Director of Supply Chain Management Systems (IT Focus) is responsible for developing and maintaining a unified technology strategy across the global supply chain, including order management, inventory, warehousing, and CRM.
This position drives digital fulfillment innovation and ensures cohesive solutions for core supply chain processes such as planning, MDM, CRM, and inventory control.
A strong background in Information Technology, particularly with enterprise Order Management and CRM solutions, is essential for success in this role.
- Develop and execute a global roadmap for Supply Chain Management Systems, incorporating order management, CRM, inventory control, and warehousing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Finance, Sales, and Marketing) to identify initiatives that improve operational efficiency and boost customer engagement.
- Serve as the primary IT partner for supply chain and CRM stakeholders, ensuring technology alignment with corporate goals and compliance requirements.
- Lead end-to-end deployments of Order Management and Warehouse Management solutions, as well as integrations with CRM platforms to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Continuously refine processes for enhanced user experience, speed and focusing on simpler data exchange between various order fulfillment systems such as Oracle ERP, EDI systems, B2B commerce portals and Digital Orders
- Work with other IT leaders to configure supply chain planning tools (such as Demantra, ASCP, o9) and WMS platforms (including Manhattan or Blue Yonder), ensuring alignment with supply chain deployments and industry best practices.
- Establish robust governance frameworks and best practices for system design, implementation, and maintenance across supply chain and CRM technologies.
- Ensure data security and compliance standards throughout all related systems and integrations.
- Develop key metrics to monitor system performance, usage, and ROI, ensuring transparency for stakeholders
- Recruit, mentor, and manage IT and supply chain professionals while promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Collaborate with executives and senior leaders to obtain the required resources for strategic system enhancements.
- Maintain open communication with technical teams, vendors, and partners to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and influence executive-level decisions.
- Balance between strategic vision and hands-on execution, as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- 10 years of IT leadership experience, with a strong focus on supply chain management systems.
- Hands-on experience prescribing supply chain management solutions with Oracle EBS
- Proven success in digital order management deployments, including EDI integrations, strong understanding of both B2B Order flows and digital e-com order flows.
- Comprehensive understanding of inventory control, warehouse operations, and supply chain planning tools (e.g., Demantra, ASCP, o9 solutions).
- Familiarity with WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan or Blue Yonder).
- CRM experience: Demonstrated proficiency in deploying CRM systems.
- Solid track record managing complex, global IT projects from concept to completion.
- Oracle Fusion
- REST APIs, familiarity with Integration tools such as OIC, Workato.
- Formal process improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) certification
