Position: Director, Supply Chain Planning & Procurement

What you will be doing:
Strategic Leadership & Process Optimization
- Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain planning and procurement IT strategy to enhance agility, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee IT demand and supply planning systems deployment, ensuring optimal use of Demantra, ASCP, and ERP solutions
- Lead end-to-end procurement process improvements, focusing on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) automation and supplier management best practices.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain Planning, and distribution teams to ensure alignment of planning and procurement strategies with business needs and develop an IT strategy that meets them.
- Lead the deployment and optimization of o9 solutions, ensuring smooth integration with Oracle ERP and other planning tools.
- Drive ERP upgrade initiatives, ensuring seamless transition and system performance enhancements post-o9 deployment.
- Work closely with IT and engineering teams to architect system integrations using REST APIs, EDI, and middleware solutions to improve data flow across supply chain systems.
- Support the selection and implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ensuring streamlined warehouse and distribution operations.
- Establish governance frameworks and best practices for system implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement in areas of Supply Chain Planning, ERP and other enterprise solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across supply chain and procurement platforms.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor planning accuracy, procurement efficiency, and system effectiveness.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage IT and supply chain professionals while promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Collaborate with executives and senior leaders to obtain the required resources for strategic system enhancements.
- Maintain open communication with technical teams, vendors, and partners to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Provide strategic direction and mentorship to teams working on supply chain technology, procurement automation, and ERP transformation projects.
Technical Skills:
- Supply Chain Applications: In-depth experience deploying and supporting Supply Chain Planning solutions such as Demantra, ASCP, o9 solutions; Oracle ERP EBS and Fusion experience.
- Process & Data Expertise: Strong knowledge of Procure to Pay workflows, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and IBP flows, including root cause analysis, KPI definition, and continuous improvement.
- Technology Strategy: Proven capability in designing comprehensive solutions alongside IT, ensuring worldwide standardization and alignment with the business strategy.
- System Governance & Compliance: Proven track record designing governance frameworks, emphasizing data accuracy, security, and performance measures.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor teams.
- Communication: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and align technology solutions with business goals.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, including business analysts, developers, and infrastructure engineers.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing technologies and business requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management or a closely related field.
- 10 years of IT leadership experience, with a strong focus on supply chain planning and procurement systems.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and supply chain management solutions like Oracle EBS, Demantra, and ASCP or leading solutions like o9.
- Proven experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) system implementations and automation.
- Experience with system integrations, including REST APIs, EDI, and middleware tools (OIC, Workato, etc.).
- Solid track record managing complex, global IT projects from concept to completion.
- Master’s degree
- Oracle Fusion experience
- Familiarity with WMS platforms (e.g., Oracle WMS, Manhattan, Blue Yonder).
- Experience in ERP system upgrades, cloud migration, and enterprise IT modernization initiatives.
- Strong background in CPG and distribution environments, understanding IT challenges in large-scale supply chain operations.
