Hybrid Schedule: Helen of Troy associates enjoy the advantages and flexibility of a hybrid working model, allowing for in office 3 days minimum, and remote 2 days. Any changes to this working model would be communicated accordingly.
What you will be doing:
The Senior Manager, Process Improvement, a member of the Enterprise Program Management Office (ePMO), is a position central to our mission of innovation and elevation. In this role, you will take the lead in designing and documenting scalable business processes, finding opportunities for efficiency, and building innovative bridge solutions to address gaps both within and outside the ePMO.
As a cross-functional partner, you’ll champion collaboration, optimize workflows, and support business initiatives that align with our strategic goals. This role is ideal for a strategic problem solver who thrives on making a measurable impact in an evolving environment.
Business Process Modeling:
- Serving as key contributor on enterprise initiatives, proficiently applying process mapping toolset to create detailed business process models, including process flows, data flows, and documentation of core business systems and processes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to capture process-related information and ensuring accurate representation in process models
- Develop and train network of functional SMEs to maintain a comprehensive catalog of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring they are clearly documented, organized and connected to corresponding processes, teams and functions to provide an enterprise-wide view of operational workflows and value chain
Process Optimization and Efficiency:
- Analyzing existing business processes, within and outside the ePMO, to identify areas for improvement
- Identifying operational gaps and proposing strategic recommendations for process optimization and control implementation
- Using technical proficiency in tools such as Excel, Smartsheet, Power Automate and other workflow automation platforms to design and implement innovative bridge solutions
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Conducting in-depth analysis and presenting quantitative and qualitative data to inform business decisions
- Maintaining structure of processes, data, and documentation to streamline operations
Project Management:
- Effectively managing process improvement initiatives from inception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes
- Collaborating with the technology team to implement technical and reporting enhancements
- Overseeing the introduction and integration of tools to enhance operational effectiveness
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
- Ability to work autonomously
- Experience leading or making significant contributions to the success of projects as a participant beyond your area of functional responsibility.
- Proven track record to work multi-functionally and harness the powers of teamwork with a variety of key stakeholders – Marketing, Supply Chain / Operations, Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Legal, Procurement, Finance, Information Technology, etc.
- Clear understanding of project stage gates, prioritization, business performance metrics.
- Strong hunger factor and adventurous spirit with a drive towards action and creative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to operate at a fast pace when required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or relevant field of study.
- Proficiency in process improvement methodologies and workflow documentation tools.
- Sophisticated skills in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, Power BI and other process optimization or data visualization tools.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to create collaborative relationships that drive outcomes in the best interest of the company.
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
