JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY
Summary of position:
The Hamilton County Services Coordinator is responsible for supervising the clinical and programmatic activities of the Children & Youth Mental Health Programming in Hamilton County. This role acts as the liaison between the local Department of Mental Health, community partners, United Way, and the Therapeutic Preschool (IOP) for children ages 4-6. The coordinator will also oversee the development and implementation of additional programs as needed in the area. As a key member of the Hamilton County management team, this position plays an essential role in program planning, development, and operations.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT
This position will work within an outpatient clinic office at Hamilton Children and Youth Center but may require community-based visits. Position works within a multi-disciplinary team and should be flexible to maintain a team-based atmosphere.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensure appropriate referral, agency linkage, advocacy, home visits, and follow-up services for children and youth, while building and maintaining strong relationships with community partners to enhance service delivery.
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed for children and youth, while leveraging center-wide and community resources to coordinate care.
- Provide direct supervision and clinical oversight of the team, ensuring high-quality care and professional development.
- Act as a liaison between the Center, the Department of Mental Health administration, and other community partners to ensure the coordination of services and continued referrals.
- Contribute to the planning, development, and implementation of new programs and initiatives as needed in the children and youth services sector.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train staff under direct supervision. Assist with clinical staff and team leaders in reviewing program files to ensure compliance with contract and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with team leaders and staff to monitor and achieve clinical productivity goals for children and youth programs. Ensure the completion of productivity reports and other required documentation for funding sources.
- Serve as a liaison with licensure and auditing bodies, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Support the management of expenses and budget to ensure financial goals are met for the children and youth services.
- Coordinate staffing and scheduling to ensure proper coverage across all programs, including during staff absences.
- Compile and submit quarterly Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement (QA/QI) reports, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of care.
- Lead team meetings and foster a positive, collaborative work environment to promote professional growth and team cohesion.
- Maintain a manageable caseload for direct service delivery, ensuring all clients receive the care and support they need.
- Ensure program goals and objectives are consistently met in line with contracts and manage program compliance with CARF accreditation standards.
- Provide guidance and support to staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
COMPENSATION:
Starting salary for this position is approximately $62,413/year based on relevant experience and education.
Schedule:
Primary working hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Travel:
This position requires the use of a personal, dependable vehicle for conducting Center business. Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment.

Equipment/Technical Competency:
Proficiency in operating a computer and knowledge of database applications.
Experience / Knowledge:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in service delivery and supervision in the mental health and social sciences field.
- Two years of related work experience specifically with children and youth impacted by trauma.
- Clinical knowledge necessary for providing clinical services and supervising staff.
- Proficiency in database applications.
- Experience in planning and implementing treatment services for children and youth, including crisis intervention.
Education / License:
- A Master's degree in a Social Service-related field is required.
- License-eligible status is required
