Job Summary:
Helena Motors is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Service Cashier to provide excellent customer service while processing transactions for our service department. As the face of our service team, you’ll ensure a smooth and positive experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Process payments for completed service work, including cash, credit, and check transactions.
- Accurately handle invoicing, refunds, and warranty claims in alignment with company policies.
- Answer customer questions about their invoices and direct them to Service Advisors for further assistance when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier workspace.
- Balance the cash register daily and report discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with administrative duties, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and Technicians to ensure smooth communication between departments.
- Provide basic information on services offered and assist with scheduling service appointments as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in cash handling or customer service is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computers and familiarity with dealership software systems is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
