Job Summary:
Helena Motors is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Manager to oversee and maintain our dealership’s information technology systems. The IT Manager will be responsible for ensuring the security, efficiency, and effectiveness of all IT operations, supporting employees with technical needs, and managing technology-related projects. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and experience in managing IT infrastructure in a business setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of IT systems, including network infrastructure, hardware, and software.
- Maintain and enhance cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive business and customer data.
- Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
- Implement and oversee data backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices for data security.
- Assist with software upgrades, new technology implementations, and system integrations.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures.
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Conduct IT training sessions for staff to enhance technology utilization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of IT management experience, preferably in an automotive or retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity, and data management.
- Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) software is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows operating systems, and cloud-based applications.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Full-time position with standard business hours, with occasional evening or weekend work as needed.
- Office-based with occasional travel to dealership locations for IT support.
