Project Supervisor
The company is growing strong and in need of experienced Project Supervisors who are motivated, self-starting individuals with the drive and commitment to get the job done successfully.
This role is responsible for all aspects of the safety, quality, and production of the assigned project. The Project Supervisors are responsible for the quality of all assigned projects, which includes inspections in the field. This position usually is assigned to overseeing night shifts on an outage. **80-85% domestic travel is required** We do a majority of our emergency outage/scheduled shutdown work on the East Coast and are looking for someone central to that region.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
It is the Project Supervisors responsibility to ensure that all aspects of the work scope are being performed in a safe manner. Project Supervisors will report to the Project Manager, and work closely to ensure that the project remains on schedule and budget. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conducting daily tailgate meeting,
- Oversee safe tool usage,
- Complete injury reports with the Safety Manager,
- Assigning manpower & scheduling project tasks,
- Tool rentals,
- Ordering material,
- Processing time cards / time sheets,
- Tracking material items & submittal to Project Manager.
The Project Supervisor will be responsible for verifying that all code requirements are met and documented. This will include but is not limited to:
- Ensure weld procedures are being followed,
- Gather all MTR’s and code documents for submittal to QC.
It is the responsibility of the Project Supervisors to understand and follow all Helfrich Brothers company policies and procedures. The Supervisor will enforce the policies at all times.

Education/Skills/Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two - four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience,
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals,
- Possess the ability to write routine reports and correspondences,
- Possess the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of any organization,
- Strong interpersonal skills and fluent communicator,
- Possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists,
- Possess the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form,
- Strong time and project management skills,
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook,
- Valid driver's license

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
