Heli-One is the leader in rotor wing maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) with decades of expertise supporting a wide range of helicopters. Our global support network includes base maintenance; line maintenance; component and engine repair and overhaul; and Engineering and Design within our 500,000 square feet of international facilities in Vancouver, Canada; Stavanger, Norway; and Rzeszow, Poland.
Heli-One Canada is looking for a Structures AME who will be responsible for maintenance to airworthy standards, inspecting and releasing maintenance for contracted maintenance support at our Borden, ON location.
Key Responsibilities
- Follows approved repair/modification procedures for component or aircraft, consulting internal procedures that have been TC approved, original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) technical data, and work package instructions.
- Positions and aligns subassemblies in jigs or fixtures, using measuring instruments, following blueprint lines and index points
- Inspects completed work to identify any needed rework before submitting for final release inspection; ensures that repaired components meet prescribed standards and tolerances.
- Performs serviceability tests on repairs using test equipment specified in technical manuals.
- Completes work package documentation after finishing all designated operations.
- Submits completed work to Quality Assurance for final/in progress inspection and recertification of airworthiness.
- Work shifts/weekends as required
- May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
- EX-DND ACS Level A qualified on CH146 with at least 6 months’ experience in the last 36 months
- And/or Valid Transport Canada AME “S” license with at least 6 months’ experience in the last 24 months
- Experience working in an environment that has required the conduct of the airworthiness function IAW TCCA Airworthiness Manual (AWM)
- Ability to process complex systems and logically think through problems
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to deal with multiple concurrent requirements, ambiguity and demanding situations
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to process complex systems logically
- Results oriented with a focus on quality. Be computer literate.
- Efficient in the use of electronic or paper based manuals (IETM) and able to navigate through vendor data to find necessary information. In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems and aviation standards.
- Ability to take direction and follow instructions.
