Dispatcher

Position Details:

HeliService USA is looking for dynamic and experienced personnel to support offshore windfarm construction, operations, and maintenance. Helicopter communications specialists will be supporting a fleet of AW-169 helicopters and associated flight operations. This position will be locally based at Quonset State Airport (RI).

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Effectively schedule daily flight operations to meet customer demands
• Communicate directly with airborne aircraft to ensure task completion
• Provide flight following and locating services to company helicopters
• Interact with Customs and Border Patrol for passenger and cargo processing
• Prepare statistics and data for customers, management, and flight operations
• Communicate with airport operations and fuel suppliers
• Proper labeling and handling of hazardous materials (HAZMAT)
• Prepare customer invoices for daily flight operations
• Coordinate and schedule required customer training

Qualifications:

Required:

• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
• Quick thinking and flexible to ensure task completion
• Ability to manage several tasks and communications streams at once
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn systems

Preferred:

• Prior experience with dispatching and flight locating
• Familiarity with radio communications
• Private Pilot’s License (PPL)
• Experience with helicopter operations
