We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to document internal standards, policies, and procedures. The role involves working closely with various teams to ensure that all internal processes are clearly documented, updated, and aligned with organizational goals and compliance requirements. You will be responsible for gathering, synthesizing, and writing documentation that supports business operations, compliance, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation Creation: Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive documentation for internal standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring clarity and compliance.
Information Gathering: Collaborate with different departments (IT, legal, compliance, operations) to gather relevant information for accurate and up-to-date documentation.
Process Mapping: Analyze business processes and create detailed documentation, including process flows, to ensure consistency and operational efficiency.
Compliance Alignment: Ensure that all documentation meets industry and regulatory standards, and stays aligned with internal and external compliance requirements.
Version Control: Manage documentation updates, revisions, and version control to ensure all stakeholders have access to the latest information.
Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with key internal stakeholders to ensure their input is integrated into the documentation process, and that the content meets their needs.
Quality Assurance: Conduct reviews of documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness. Work with teams to address any gaps or inconsistencies.
Training Materials: Develop training guides and materials to help teams understand and adhere to documented standards and procedures.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in documenting internal standards, policies, and procedures.
Strong ability to synthesize information from various internal sources and create clear, concise documentation.
Experience with regulatory compliance documentation (experience in industries such as finance, IT, or healthcare is a plus).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
Familiarity with tools for document management, such as Confluence, SharePoint, or Wiki.
Basic project management skills to manage timelines and deliverables effectively.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a regulatory environment or familiarity with industry standards.
Knowledge of business process modeling or process improvement methodologies.
