Audit Coordinators are responsible for hosting external auditors while in the facility. They report to Quality Manager or Quality Lead. They are responsible for providing the auditor with a process tour, assisting the auditor with process questions, ensuring the auditor is auditing the allowed areas and staying within the audit scope. The Audit Coordinators will accompany and observe the auditor and audit process and intervene when issues or questions arise. The Audit Coordinator will escalate issues to the Quality Management Team as needed. The Audit Coordinator will demonstrate a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, leadership and safe working habits.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the manufacturing processes, the Heliene test and inspection criteria, the Heliene Quality Management System, and other files, records and drawings that pertain to customer product.
· Understand and be well-versed with customer quality requirements to be able to identify issues with customer requirements and drive compliance when needed and challenge requirements when appropriate.
· Understand the scope of the customer audit programs and involvement of Third-Party Inspectors (TPIs).
· Host the Auditors and accompany them through the audit process.
· Attend opening and closing meetings with the auditor, including appropriate site management as needed.
· Shadow the auditor and ensure the audit stays within the scope. Question the auditors to ensure we have effective communications and clarify misunderstandings or confusion.
· Document findings and notes from the auditor. Verify findings as appropriate.
· Conduct timely escalation of findings to drive prompt resolution.
· Summarize and present the notes and findings to the Quality Assurance and Operations Management.
· Crosstrain with Quality Techs and Quality Leads to improve Audit Guide capabilities and use the knowledge/skills developed to fill in when Quality Techs or Quality leads need help or are unavailable.
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field with two years of related experience in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
· Auditing experience is required, ISO 9001 preferred.

Salary Range: $55,000 to $75,000 Annually
