Job Summary
The Business Analyst serves as a liaison between IT, Operations, and the business line to analyze non-standard business and user needs, document requirements, and resolve complex system problems. The role involves coordinating development and support for new and existing applications and data feeds while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

The Business Analyst serves as a liaison between IT, Operations, and the business line to analyze non-standard business and user needs, document requirements, and resolve complex system problems. The role involves coordinating development and support for new and existing applications and data feeds while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work independently to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Break down requirements into functional designs and collaborate with technical teams for implementation.
- Lead meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Develop clear and complete test acceptance criteria and execute unit and UAT testing.
- Create and execute SQL scripts for ETL/data testing.
- Conduct research on industry trends, data security, and technology advancements.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for data platforms.
- Work on internal projects, including legacy system replacement, analytics improvements, and technical documentation.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Manage and prioritize multiple assignments effectively.
- Ability to run meetings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work onsite in Cincinnati.
- Knowledge of Financial Crimes/Financial Industry.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Bachelor's degree in business/technology or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills to interact with management, business stakeholders, and IT teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving data-related issues.
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project management support.
- Understanding of release management protocols.
- Ability to manage important tasks for implementation.
