Position Overview: Helion is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. This individual will be overseeing the manufacturing process and leading a team of production workers to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Train, mentor, and motivate production workers to maximize productivity and maintain high-quality standards.
- Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, quality control, and maintenance to resolve production issues and optimize workflow.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.
Qualifications:
- 5 years proven supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control standards.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing process improvements is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and manufacturing software applications.
