Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role involves assisting the warehouse manager with organization of product, while also fulfilling delivery responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating various types of vehicles and equipment, ensuring timely and safe transport of goods, and maintaining a safe and clean warehouse environment.
Duties
- Operate delivery vehicles, including but not limited to dump trucks, box trucks 20-26ft non-CDL, and adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Manage route driving efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Utilize forklift equipment for moving heavy items within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
- Perform regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Assist in general warehouse duties such as inventory management, organization of stock, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area.
Skills
- Proven experience with box trucks (non-CDL) is required.
- Attentive to detail and able to work with little supervision
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles preferred not required.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members through phone.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
