Vendor Manager

The Vendor Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with key vendors in the HVACR industry to ensure high-quality supply and service delivery. This includes vendor selection, contract negotiation, onboarding, performance monitoring, and risk management. The Vendor Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders to align vendor capabilities with organizational needs.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:

• Vendor Selection: Identify and evaluate potential vendors based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities through market assessment and comparative analysis.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors, including pricing, payment terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and performance metrics.
• Onboarding: Integrate new vendors into company systems and processes, ensuring training on compliance and expectations.
• Performance Monitoring: Track vendor performance against KPIs, prepare regular performance reports, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Risk Management: Assess vendor-related risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with key vendor contacts to facilitate smooth operations and collaboration.
• Collaboration: Work with internal teams (e.g., Operations, Quality, Engineering) to align vendor capabilities with organizational goals. 
• Process Improvement: Monitor workflows amongst regional procurement and central AP teams to identify areas of improvement and enhance interdepartmental communication.
  
  

WHAT HELIOS NEEDS FROM YOU:

• 3 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain in the HVACR or related industry.
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both vendors and the Helios team.
• Clear background and MVR (if planning to use company vehicle)
  
  

Helios Commercial Service Partners determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,000 - $95,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
