Description

Job Summary :

The Warehouse Associate will complete shipments by processing and loading orders. This position will also be responsible for moving materials around the facility into staging or loading areas

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for moving, stocking, receiving, and packing outbound / inbound materials
  • Loading and unloading production material from semi-trucks
  • Operate different type of forklifts and material moving equipment while obtaining and maintaining certification through SUN training program
  • Assists in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts
  • Utilizing handheld scanner to move inventory through the facility
  • Utilize computer software for investigating any part shortages, missing parts, etc.
  • Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations
  • Working overtime as needed to ensure we deliver for our customers

Qualifications

Required Skills / Abilities :

  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Time management and organizational skills to keep track of inter-department deliveries and stay on schedule
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with other employees
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Clerical skills
  • Ability to lift / move heavy objects
  • Physical stamina

    • Education and Experience :

  • High school diploma preferred but not required
  • Performs work under minimal supervision
  • Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff
  • Prior warehouse experience / utilizing a hand scanner is a plus

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs.
