Full Job Description:
The Contracts Administrator/Compliance Officer supports the contracts administration process, ensuring the fulfillment of all contractual obligations while managing complex contractual negotiations and relationships. With a specific focus on aerospace and defense projects, this role requires a proactive approach to contract strategy, risk management, and compliance. The Contracts Administrator/Compliance Officer is expected to mentor junior team members, enhance contract processes, and drive successful project outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead review, redline and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors, including but not limited to flow down clause requirements, nondisclosure agreements, contract, terms and conditions, and other related legal documents.
- Prepare quality assurance correspondence and documentation from pre-award through closure of highly technical aerospace and defense projects.
- Support identification, development, and implementation of new contract clauses and flow down requirements.
- Complete contract review and acceptance.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues regarding risk, profit, contractual provisions, client expectations, and support, applying advanced problem-solving skills.
- Effectively manage change control and issue resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support contract administration and ensure seamless contract execution and compliance across departments.
- Work with team to ensure company is compliant with customer Purchase Order requirements.
- Mentor team members and lead training initiatives on best practices in contract management.
- Developing and overseeing control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.
- Promoting compliance within the organization and establishing compliance programs and systems to mitigate compliance risk.
- Conduct routine audits to identify potential weaknesses and noncompliance situations.
- Complete customer requested technical survey’s, checking compliance to call outs mentioned within the survey’s.
- Other administrative duties as assigned to support the organization.
- Maintain compliance of NIST800-171, ISO17025, ITAR, DFAR and other requirements for company policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Expertise in ITAR compliance, including commodity jurisdiction requests, Technical Assistance Agreements, and Licensing. Experience with Export Administration Regulations (EAR) is a plus.
- Strong experience with commercial aerospace and federal government contracts, including FAR, DFAR, and flow-down requirements.
- Ability to interpret and understand customer and industry specifications, i.e., ISO, ASME, MIL STD, AS, etc.
- Knowledge of Microsoft products including Windows, Word, Excel, etc.

- Requires 4 years’ experience in contract administration
- Requires U.S. citizenship
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Compensation/Benefits:
· Full-time in-person position; Monday-Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm
· Progressive wage within the industry and based upon candidate’s experience.
· Hourly - $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
