Job Summary:
*THE HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE APPROXIMATELY 3:30-6:00 WEEKDAYS.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to implement behavior intervention plans and provide support in various settings. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with ASD and their families.
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect data on client progress and behavior using various data collection methods
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment goals
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions to clients using evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to develop and modify treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress, including session notes, behavior tracking sheets, and incident reports
- Assist with the implementation of behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors
- Support clients in developing social skills, communication skills, and daily living skills
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information
Requirements:
-Experience working with individuals with special needs
-Comfortability within working in a client's home
-Ability to work afternoon hours
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
