Position Overview : The 2nd Grade Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging and effective lessons for our second-grade students. This individual will provide a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes both academic growth and social-emotional development. The teacher will work closely with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure each child's success and well-being.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity, respect, and collaboration.
- Assess and track student progress through regular evaluations, assignments, and observations.
- Provide individualized support for students who need additional assistance.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance student learning and school initiatives.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
